NORAH'S HAPPY PILLS

It doesn't really matter what kind of production you pop underneath Norah Jones' vocal - it's still going to sound as smooth as creamy caramel.
It feels like more than ten years ago that Norah released her debut album 'Come Away With Me'. But its soft, smooth timelessness remains and a decade on, it's sold more than 25 million copies across the world.
Her new single 'Happy Pills' (cover art pictured) has been serviced to local media today by her local label EMI and it's another slight departure in style to what we've come to expect. The single sees her once again teaming up with Danger Mouse, who she collaborated with recently on the soundtrack to movie 'Rome' (along with Jack White).
Danger Mouse has produced and co-written Norah's forthcoming album 'Little Broken Hearts', which is due for release locally on Friday April 27.

TOURING : S Club/Big Brovaz PLUS Eiffel 65/N-Trance

If you haven't been following their FACEBOOK PAGE over the last week or so, then you'd be blissfully unaware that the team at Big Apachee is bringing to Australia none other than '90s popsters S Club and '00s UK R&B outfit Big Brovaz.
But... before you get too excited about the news, it's not the entire S Club outfit making their way to our shores. Just the three members - Paul, Jo and Bradley (pictured) will be headed down under when they bring the party to us in May.
The band gave us such deliciously sweet and treacly pop classics like 'Reach', 'Don't Stop Movin', the Spice Girls 'Say You'll Be There' sound-a-like 'S Club Party' and the classic 'Bring It All Back'.
Also along for the ride are '00s urban outfit Big Brovaz, who hit the big time in Australia with their singles 'Nu Flo', 'Favourite Things' and 'Baby Boy'.

PLAYGROUND CLOSED

Devastating news for punters holding tickets to this year's Playground Weekender at Wisemans Ferry in New South Wales, with organisers cancelling the event earlier this afternoon.
A flood watch is in place for the Hawkesbury and Nepean River systems, which are adjacent to the site, with the New South Wales State Emergency Service stating, "The Bureau Of Meteorology predictions indicate moderate flooding but have not discounted the possibility of major flooding."
They continue... "In the interests of public safety, and as the emergency service responsible for storms and floods, the New South Wales State Emergency Service directs Playground Weekender be cancelled under the State Emergency Service Act 1989."
Event organiser Andy Rigby couldn't hide his disappointment in the statement posted on the event's Facebook page.
"We have been planning this event all year and were anticipating it as much as our guests were. The safety of the guests, artists and staff at the event, and on their way to and from the event, is our main priority. Reluctantly we have followed advice that it would be unsafe to ask people to travel in these weather conditions, and as such the event cannot go ahead."
Playground organisers are in the process of contacting all ticketholders with further details.
The event was to feature Nile Rodgers, Fat Freddys Drop, Boy & Bear, Roots Manuva, Lanie Lane and many more.

FREE MARINA

The powers that be tell us that this new track by Welsh popster Marina & The Diamonds seems to be causing some discord among her fandom. Some people are loving the new tune... others not so much.
But one thing's for certain, there's one thing better than a new Marina & The Diamonds track - and that's a FREE Marina & The Diamonds track.
Yes, Marina is allowing fans to download the new track 'Homewrecker' free of charge by signing up to her mailing list.
An up-tempo spoken word opening soon gives way to a thumping electro-pop chorus. It's like a collision between Marina, the Pet Shop Boys and Xenomania. For us it works - and then some.
Love it or loathe it? You can download it FREE by signing up HERE.

NEWS WRAP

• Looks very much like the United States is slowly falling in love with our own Havana Brown, with the dance poppet's single 'We Run The Night' hitting the No.1 position on the Billboard dance charts this week. Her US success comes off the back of a triple platinum accreditation for the single's original version, as well as a gold accreditation for her latest volume (No.6) in the popular 'Crave' series.
• Pete Murray's brand new single 'Let You Go' is now officially at Australian radio. The track, featuring New Zealand songstress Bic Runga on guest vocals, is lifted form his latest album 'Blue Sky Blue' and was serviced to media yesterday. The track is slated for digital release on Monday.
• Also out at radio this week are new singles for Ryan Adams ('Chains Of Love'), Real Estate ('Easy') and Slash ('You're A Lie').
• Are you ready to go back...? Back to Titanic? Yes, James Cameron's epic film about the famed ocean liner is one of the biggest movies in history - and now he's inviting audiences to head back on the journey as he re-launches his precious film in spectacular 3D to co-incide with the ship's first journey. The film will hit Australian cinemas on April 05, but Sony Music will release both Anniversary and Collectors Anniversary editions of the film's soundtrack, both of which include an unreleased disc of period music recorded specifically for the film. Both are released on Friday March 30.
• Plan B is giving fans a taster of what to expect from the soundtrack of his feature film 'Ill Manors', to be released in May. The title track has been uploaded to Youtube - and you can hear it HERE.
• Shock Records has given fans of British dance outfit Faithless a reason to smile, confirming that they'll be releasing the band's farewell live album 'Passing The Baton' in Australia at the end of next month. The release is set to feature a CD and a DVD, the latter also featuring an exclusive interview with the band and photographic stills. It's out on Friday March 30.
• Canyons will celebrate the release of their album 'Keep Your Dreams' late last year with a national tour to co-incide with their appearances at Playground Weekender, Golden Plains Sixxx and the Secret Garden Festival. The band will play dates in the major centres, along with dates on the Gold Coast and in Geelong. Tickets are on sale now, with more details at the OFFICIAL WEBSITE.

• Country star James Blundell will be honoured at this year's Country Music Awards by being presented by the inaugural CMC Hall Of Fame Award. • Obie Trice's new album 'Bottoms Up' will be released globally on Monday April 02. • And over the pond... On the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart this week, Katy Perry's brand new single 'Part Of Me' debuts in the top spot - a spectacular result and only the 20th time a track has debuted in the No.1 spot in the Billboard Hot 100's history. Adele's 'Set Fire To The Rain' holds at No.2, while Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' benefits from a full week of sales and moves up four spots to No.3. Adele's Grammys appearance has seen 'Rolling In The Deep' surge back into the top ten (No.5), with 'Someone Like You' (No.7) not too far behind. Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' and Chris Brown's 'Turn Up The Music' debut at Nos.9 and 10 respectively. British boybands The Wanted and One Direction also find themselves in top 30 action Stateside.
• And Adele has consolidated her chart position on the back of her incredible Grammy and Brits success - not only maintaining her No.1 heading with '21', but picking up a No.4 position with her previous long player '19'. Whitney's 'Greatest Hits' surged to No.2, with Bruno Mars' 'Doo-Wops & Hooligans' also impressing in its improvement.

MADONNA PREMIERES NEW TRACK

After first single 'Give Me All Your Luvin' didn't exactly set the charts on fire around the globe, nor here in Australia where it peaked at No.25 and has dropped to No.61 after just three weeks, Madonna is pushing head-long into the 'M.D.N.A.' project with the impending release of the album's second single 'Girl Gone Wild' (cover art attached).
Madge has premiered a lyric video on her Vevo channel so that fans around the world can get a taste of what to expect when the single drops.
We really like 'Masterpiece'. We weren't massive fans of 'Give Me All Your Luvin'. Jury's still out on this one. Your thoughts?

CALLEA RUMBLINGS

We've heard rumblings that fans of Anthony Callea might be getting their mitts on brand new music from the Melbourne-based singer a little sooner than they expected.
Though nothing official has been confirmed at this stage, we hear on the grapevine that a new tune may be dropping in the not-too-distant future.
More details are expected soon, but as always, we'll do our best to ensure that you won't be the last to know.

PERFECT PANAMA POP

There's a heck of a lot to like about the debut single for Sydney based outfit Panama.
Described by the band's publicists as "steeped in sunburn, the scent of coconut, beer drinking on the promenade and bikini-clad girls on roller-skates", 'Magic', which was produced in Los Angeles, is all that and much more - delivering Aussie audiences a slice of percussive indie-pop goodness with a synth-laden chorus filled with sweet echoed harmonies and good grooves.
If this is the strength of their debut, we can't wait to hear what else Panama has up their collective sleeve.
'Magic' and its remix package will be released digitally this Friday.

KEANE ON A NEW RELEASE

British outfit Keane has officially announced the forthcoming release of their brand new album 'Strangeland' (cover art pictured). The album, to be released in May, is the band's first LP since 2008's 'Perfect Symmetry', which spawned the singles 'Spiralling' and 'The Lovers Are Losing'.
Though no further details have been provided about the new project, the band has compiled this little two minute musical and biographical montage of how the album came to be. It also includes snippets of some of the tracks from the album, which sound fantastic.
Though no release date has been confirmed for Australia at this stage, we expect it to drop on Friday May 04.

We can pretty much guarantee you'll be up all night dreaming of winning this competition...
We know how much Aussies have been falling in love with British boy band One Direction. Their fans petitioned the lads' local record label Sony to release their single 'What Makes You Beautiful' and their album 'Up All Night'. Then the rumblings grew super-loud that the boys would be inbound for some live shows. Last week those rumblings exploded with a tour announcement and news that Sony would re-release 'Up All Night' with a special edition in the middle of March.
BUT... What are these (pictured above)???

THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED.

GOTYE : Easy Way Out

The team at Eleven has today serviced Gotye's brand new single 'Easy Way Out' to Australian media. The official follow-up to the international mega-hit 'Somebody That I Used To Know', the two minute tune is accompanied by this rather scintillating little video in which Wally's life just seems to be going 'round in circles. He's on the endless merry-go-round of life and he's looking for the easy way out, presumably out of the monotony of his day to day existence.
In development for nine months, the clip is executed brilliantly - and if you were mesmerised by Kylie's video for 'Come Into My World', we think you'll be similarly captivated by this. Super cool.

Got your hands on the official Ladyhawke app for Android or iPhone yet?

The release of Ladyhawke's album 'Anxiety' has been pushed back - it will now drop at Aussie retail on Friday May 25.

Big tour announcement this morning from the team at Chugg.
British rock outfit Radiohead will return to Australia later this year for the first time in almost ten years, playing dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Perth and Adelaide will miss out entirely this time around.
The band, whose last five albums have made it to No.2 on the ARIA charts, released their last LP 'The King Of Limbs' early last year and have warned fans that the five dates announced this morning are the only shows they'll play in Australia as part of this tour. No further dates will be announced.

HELLO HELLO, BIC

Sony Music officially confirmed the forthcoming local release of New Zealand songstress Bic Runga's long-awaited new album 'Belle' a couple of weeks ago.
But now the brand new Bic project is one step further into its being, with the album's first official single 'Hello Hello' being serviced to media this morning.
Co-penned by Evermore's Dan Hume, the track is sparkly, up-tempo acoustic pop that, coupled with Bic's intoxicating vocals, reminds a little of Lisa Mitchell's recent single 'Oh Hark'.
Sony has also confirmed that Bic will visit our shores next month for a promotional tour.
'Hello Hello' is due for release this Friday; the album 'Belle' is scheduled for a March 16 release.

OLLY MURS : Oh My Goodness

Good Golly Olly! No sooner has his single 'Heart Skips A Beat' been re-serviced to Australian media, along with confirmation of a possible promotional tour, than he's gone and popped out the official video for his latest UK single 'Oh My Goodness'.
This one's very British in sound - highly infectious, uptempo, fresh and bright with plenty of horns, drums and spunk.
The clip sees our leading man caught by surprise by the girl of his dreams on an escalator in the middle of a shopping centre, so he decides to do everything he can to track her down - including running through food courts, bursting through clothes rails, stealing drinks from unsuspecting shoppers and finally crashing on the ground. Cue the segue... Or should that be the Segway... as he closes in on his target. But does he get to her in the end?

RADIO INK : Who We Are Tonight

We gave you an exclusive little preview of the new Radio Ink track in the middle of last week, saying that the track, which has been produced by the amazing Diamond Cut, was "entirely likeable, definitely listenable, with a catchy chorus, great beats, pure pop production and a summery heart." We'd obviously been drinking the juices of literary creativity that day...
The video for the single has subsequently been released - and again, there's plenty to like.
The clip sees a selection of young couples frolicking in the waist-high grass, seemingly enjoying their experience in the great outdoors. It's overlayed with images of vocalist Miss S warbling the tune.
The track is brimming with '90s pop sensibilities and a good vibe - and we rather like it. Get inked.

K25 TWO

Aussie songstress Kylie Minogue kicked off her 25th year in the business in style late last month with a gorgeous acoustic reworking of her 1992 single 'Finer Feelings'.
It was the first piece of the puzzle in what's set to be a fabulous year of celebrations for the pint-sized star.
Part two is now just a couple of days old - a similarly toned-down version of her 'Light Years' anthem 'On A Night Like This'.
It's stylish and warm, yes, with a lovely orchestra, but it's nothing we haven't seen all before in her various concerts experiences across the years.
We've heard on the grapevine that Kylie's next studio album will be very different in style and a heck of a lot more experimental.

GIN'S NEW TONIC

We've had people asking when Gin Wigmore's new material would see the light of day here in Australia - and now it's arrived, with Universal Music officially servicing the New Zealand songstress' lead single 'Black Sheep' to media late today.
The track is the first to be lifted from the singer's new album 'Gravel & Wine', which will get a belated Aussie release in April following on from its release over the ditch in November.
The album, recorded in California, is the follow-up to Gin's 2009 debut 'Holy Smoke', which won her plenty of local fans upon its release.
'Gravel & Wine' is slated for release in Australia on Friday April 13.

READERS LOOKBACK

WHITNEY HOUSTON : I Look To You

At a time where we reflect upon Whitney Houston's legacy and everything she did in her career, this song signaled a comeback of sorts of The Voice. While not back to the crisp clarity we originally fell in love with back in the 80's and early 90's, the huskiness and maturity that comes through lends itself to the the subjects of these songs. Always an inspriation to me, this song was released when I was on my own in a country far away from home and reminded me of the strength I had in less obvious places. Whitney is one of kind and she will be greatly missed.

- David from Vancouver in Canada.

And don't forget... We're now looking for YOUR suggestions for our weekly Lookback segment. The clips YOU love. The stories about the tracks YOU want to tell.
Have you got a favourite Lookback pop clip that you've just been dying to share? A certain pop clip that means something to you? Send us about 100 words about your favourite Lookback clip with a link to said video and we'll feature it on the site on a forthcoming Sunday! We'll publish your first name and suburb/state under the clip so our readers will know just how fabulous you are. Our email address is up top in the sidebar! Over to you, auspOppers!

WHITNEY CHART WATCH

Though the Whitney chart action subsided a little in the second week following her untimely death in Beverly Hills, there were still plenty of people willing to show their love by shelling out for a tune or an album. Here's what happened this week;

SINGLES :
After eight Whitney Houston tracks re-emerged in the top 100 in the week following her passing, things have got a little quieter this week, with singles 'Saving All My Love For You', 'I'm Every Woman' and 'Didn't We Almost Have It All' all dropping out of the top 100 after placing at Nos.90, 95 and 96 respectively last week.
That leaves five Whitney tracks still in chart action this week - and here's where you'll find them (last week's position in brackets);

#24 : I Will Always Love You (#08)
#36 : I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me) (#25)
#68 : I Have Nothing (#47)
#85 : Greatest Love Of All (#56)
#94 : How Will I Know (#67)

ALBUMS :
Though her 1985 debut has dropped out of the albums chart this week, there's still been plenty of love for Whitney's various best-ofs elsewhere, with plenty of movement on the ARIA albums chart.
'The Ultimate Collection' had a nine place jump to No.3, with 'The Essential' following it into the top ten at No.7 (up 13 places on last week). Whitney's 'The Greatest Hits' slides seven spots to No.10, meaning there are now three Whitney best-ofs placed inside the top 10.
And 'The Bodyguard' soundtrack, which re-entered last week at No.33, moved a little higher to No.28.

CHART WATCH

Plenty of bulleting into the top fives on both charts this week, but on the top, things are looking altogether familiar. Let's check out who's where on this week's ARIA singles and albums charts with our weekly Chart Watch.

SINGLES
Singles-wise, there's seemingly no budging Flo Rida and Sia for the time being, with their single 'Wild Ones' maintaining its No.1 heading again this week for a sixth week. Positions two and three stay stagnant, but there's plenty of movement elsewhere in the top ten. Racing up a further seven positions this week is Qwote's single 'Throw Your Hands Up' featuring Pitbull - in the process notching up a platinum accreditation.
Also posting healthy rises this week are Katy Perry's 'Part Of Me' (up 17 places to No.5), Chris Brown's 'Turn Up The Music' (No.13 to No.6) and Jason Derulo's 'Fight For You' (No.27 to No.7).
Coldplay's 'Paradise' is down five spots to No.10, but records a fourth platinum accreditation.
Hilltop Hoods with Sia get a second platinum gong for 'I Love It', while One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful' makes another leap for the top after their tour announcement - up six places to No.13.
Biggest jump of the week, however, must come from Nicki MInaj, whose single 'Starships' rocketed from No.72 on debut last week to No.14 this week - impressive in anyone's books.
The new Fun. single featuring Janelle Monae continues to climb - posting an 18 place jump on its No.41 debut last week, while Train's 'Drive By' edges a little higher - up seven spots to No.29.
Labrinth and Tinie Tempah's single 'Earthquake' pops into the top 50 for the first time - up 16 places to No.41 - while LMFAO's former chart-topper 'Party Rock Anthem' trickles back over the top 50 line.
Outside the top 50, Rizzle Kicks' 'Mama Do The Hump' is higher - up 14 spots to No.56 and Lil Wayne's 'Mirror' surges from No.79 to No.57.
Madonna's 'Give Me All Your Luvin' slides from No.44 to No.61,
Highest debut of the week comes courtesy of the Glee Cast and their cover of 'Without You', premiering at No.62, with Sean Paul's 'She Doesn't Mind' entering at No.63 right behind them.
Emeli Sande's 'Next To Me' is higher - up 23 positions to No.77, the Glee Cast debut again - this time with 'We Found Love' - at No.79, Taylor Swift & The Civil Wars are in at No.92 with 'Safe & Sound' and Bruno Mars' tracks 'Marry You', 'Just The Way You Are' and 'The Lazy Song' rejoin 'Grenade' in the top 100.

ALBUMS
Remote Control Records tells us Adele's album '21' is now 12 times platinum. However, the album's chart placing fails to reflect the new accreditation. No matter, '21' is still leaving the rest of the top 100 in its wake - maintaining its hold on the No.1 spot.
Bruno Mars' 'Doo Wops & Hooligans' surges to No.4, almost matching its original peak of No.2, while The Black Keys, Coldplay and Leonard Cohen all fall.
Up on the back of their Australian tour, however, is Roxette's best-of 'Hits', which hits a new peak of No.17.
Also higher this week is Kelly Clarkson's album 'Stronger', which improves to No.19 and is now certified platinum.
Skrillex' 'Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites' surges ten places to No.31, Emeli Sande's album 'Our Version Of Events' is up 16 spots on last week's No.46 debut and the week's highest new entry comes courtesy of Band Of Skulls and their long player 'Sweet Sour' (No.35 debut).
Outside the top 50, Bon Iver's self-titled set is up 21 places to No.58, Taylor Swift's 'Speak Now' chimes back in to the top 100 at No.71 and Jimmy Barnes' 'Hits' makes some noise, re-entering at No.84.
Further down, there are re-emergences for Disturbed, Glee Cast, David Campbell, Busby Marou, the 'Burlesque' soundtrack, City & Colour and Amy Winehouse.

* We've once again omitted Whitney Houston's chart placings for the week and will publish a separate 'Whitney Chart Watch' shortly...

SUPAFEST ADDS BROWN, ELLIOT

There's no denying the reach and the appeal of R&B festival Supafest. For the past three years it's been bringing Aussie audiences a raft of amazing top name talent from across the world.
In its third variation this year, organisers have already announced that Kelly Rowland, P Diddy, Ice Cube, Trey Songz, Lupe Fiasco and US rapper Rick Ross all making the trek.
But today they've revealed the other top names who'll land in Australia to take their place alongside those already mentioned.
And the big name will be sure to stir up controversy, especially given more recent trouble in the US and that duet with Rihanna that leaked earlier in the week.
Yes, love him or loathe him, Chris Brown has been added to the 2012 Supafest bill. But he's not alone, with Missy Elliot also on her way, along with Naughty By Nature and up and comer Big Sean... A mega line-up, we're sure you'll concur.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now.

April 15 : Sydney (ANZ Stadium)
April 21 : Melbourne (Venue TBA)

PYKE HITS THEATRES

Plenty of tour news out and about today, with news through that Sydney singer songwriter Josh Pyke will hit the road (perhaps less the road and more the airlines) for a series of four intimate theatre shows in May as part of the ‘Love Lies’ tour.
The singer, whose album 'Only Sparrows' debuted in the ARIA top five last year, will visit Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide for a quartet of dates, kicking off at the Forum Theatre in the Victorian capital on May 11.
These will be Josh's last live shows before he heads off to write a batch of fresh new material.
Tickets for all shows are on sale on Monday March 05.

May 12 : Adelaide (University Of Adelaide - Elder Hall)
May 18 : Brisbane (The Tivoli)
May 19 : Sydney (Seymour Centre - York Theatre)

GRANNIS ADDS SYDNEY, MELBOURNE

Internet darling Kina Grannis can seemingly do no wrong, with tickets continuing to sell for her upcoming shows in both Sydney and Melbourne.
Now, ahead of the official local launch of her album 'Stairwells' (due on March 16), the singer has added a third and final date in Sydney and a second and final show in Melbourne, after the existing dates sold out.
Then again, with millions of views on her YouTube account and more than half a million subscribers, it's not hard to understand why there would be demand for tickets to Kina's shows.
Tickets for the new dates are on sale on Friday March 02.

TOURING : One Direction

Firstly Australia's One Direction fandom hounded their local record company Sony Music to release their music here in Australia, then they created a top ten hit for the boys with their debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful', then they gave the lads a top five placing with their album 'Up All Night'.
Rumblings have been getting louder over the past few weeks about an impending visit from the band and now it's all been confirmed - One Direction will visit Australia in April and play three shows - one each in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
To celebrate the visit, Sony will also release a new version of the album entitled 'The Souvenir Edition', which will contain five extra tracks, a 32 page fan booklet and five photocards.
Tickets for the three shows are on sale on Friday March 02, while the 'Up All Night : Souvenir Edition' will be released on March 16.

April 13 : Sydney (Hordern Pavilion)
April 16 : Melbourne (Hisense Arena)

TRAIN REVEALS ART

Further to the news earlier this month that Sony Music would be releasing 'California 37' - the new album from US outfit Train - in the middle of April, comes the official cover image for the new LP.
The single 'Drive By' continues to find new fans at local radio and is edging its way up the list of the most played songs on Australian radio.
'California 37', meanwhile, will be released on Friday April 13.

USHER'S CLIMAX

The current trend of R&B stars combining with dance producers to create mainstream pop fodder seems to be over, with US superstar Usher revealing his new single 'Climax' (cover image pictured). Of course, the singer is no stranger to the aforementioned formula, teaming with David Guetta recently for his hit single 'Without You'.
This track, however, was produced by Diplo and is warm and soulful, employing Usher's strong falsetto, while production-wise it's classy, incredibly edgy and super-fresh. It's like a breath of fresh air for the genre and we are total fans - it's one of our favourite tracks of the year so far.
It's available digitally now.

GAGA ADDS MORE DATES

Looks like Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way Ball' tour is shaping up to be a monster (see what we did there!?), with touring agent Michael Coppel this morning revealing the star has added even more dates to her local itinerary.
But the news still isn't good for the people of Adelaide, with a date in the South Australian capital still a glaring omission from the schedule.
Better news, however, for the people of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, with extra dates confirmed for each city.
There are fourth shows for Sydney and Melbourne, a third show in Brisbane and a second (but final) show confirmed for Perth.
The Born This Way Ball will no doubt see Mother Monster playing all the singles from her recent album 'Born This Way', along with tracks from her previous album 'The Fame/The Fame Monster'.
Tickets for all extra shows are on sale on Friday March 02 at midday.

FREE EMELI!

As you know, we're more than a little enamoured with gorgeous Scottish songstress Emeli Sandé here at auspOp. Her debut single 'Heaven' was so close to being our No.1 pop song of 2011, hers was by far the most exciting debut of 2011 and slowly but surely, thanks to some radio play, people are starting to discover the next big thing.
Her first album 'Our Version Of Events' has just debuted at No.1 on the UK chart, selling more than 100,000 copies in its first week, following on from it's No.46 debut on the ARIA charts here at home.
But for those who are yet to dip their toes into the soft Sandé, head to iTunes this week, 'cause the team at EMI has made her latest single 'Next To Me' the Single Of The Week. Which means, of course, that you'll have the opportunity to nab it for seven days completely free.

However, it's not all bad news from the GTM camp, with an announcement that Triple J Unearthed winners Ball Park Music will pick up the slack, joining the already impressive line-up that includes 360, Matt Corby, Adrian Lux, Kaiser Chiefs, Beni, Kimbra, Bluejuice, Digitalism, The Getaway Plan and Hilltop Hoods, along with many more.
Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
