THE RETURN OF THE VERONICAS

If it feels like years since Brisbane duo The Veronicas last released new music, that's because it is! Though they continued releasing music from their last album 'Hook Me Up' way into 2008, as well as a 'Lost Tracks' EP a year later, it's almost five long years since Jess & Lisa last released an album.
And though there's no mention of the forthcoming long player just yet, fans will get their first official taste tomorrow, with the official release of the girls' new single 'Lolita' (cover pictured).
The girls will pop by the Kyle & Jackie O Show tomorrow morning to natter about it (and they'll be on the Hot 30 tomorrow night), but Jess explains in a press release a little of what the song's about.
"It’s the power play between genders and age groups, as well as people’s perception of taboo, boundaries, what is acceptable and what a Lolita is: She’s a bad-ass and she’s on a mission. She wants to destroy something, either her own perception of what’s right and wrong or everyone else’s. She wants to prove something to herself," she said.
'Lolita' is officially released tomorrow. Here's a 22 second taste;
