SONY SIGNS THE JANOSKIANS

To be honest, we'd been blissfully unaware of the growing social popularity of Melbourne boys The Janoskians, but now that they've been signed to Sony Music Australia, it's most definitely time to put them on our radar.
The Janoskians (the name apparently stands for Just Another Name Of Silly Kids In Another Nation Skip) found their popularity booming via YouTube video mockumentaries. But with a high profile appearance on Ellen, Beau, Jai, Luke, Daniel and James have seemingly hit the big time.
With recent personal appearances across Australia seeing thousands flocking to catch a glimpse of their internet idols.
Band member Beau sums it all up.
"We can’t believe the incredible year we have had so far, it’s been totally amazing," he said in a statement. "What started as us playing pranks on our friends has led to us appearing on Ellen...we never thought would happen! Signing with Sony Music is the icing on the cake and we can’t wait to get into the studio and start laying down some tracks. We still have to pinch ourselves to believe that this is really happening."
