It's a pretty grandiose Chinese-themed affair adored with gorgeous costuming (especially for Rihanna, whose finger embellishments are a treat) and all in a relatively authentic looking setting. Truth is, of course, neither Chris or Rihanna set foot anywhere near China for the making of it. It was filmed in Los Angeles, with the outdoor desert scenes perhaps filmed amidst the arid conditions of Death Valley.
