COUNTDOWN TO EUROVISION : Bulgaria

The countdown to Eurovision 2012 is well and truly underway, with just a smidgen over a month before this year's competition touches down in the Azerbaijani capital Baku. Once again two semi-finals will see the bulk of the countries battle it out in the hope of progressing through to the Grand Final on Saturday May 26, where waiting will be the big six of the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and host nation Azerbaijan. We're continuing our daily look at the entries in the lead-up to Eurovision 2012.

SOFI MARINOVA : Love Unlimited

One of the most popular singers in her homeland, it was a shoo-in that Sofi was one day going to be asked to represent her country in the Eurovision Song Contest. She's won countless music industry awards and accolades across her 15 year career, but it's with a track called 'Love Unlimited' that she'll represent her country in Baku.
The track features the term 'I Love You' uttered in ten different languages, so presumably the thought behind the song's inclusion in the competition is that it will resonate with different countries. That's the hope, at least. It's a peppy little Euro-dance number, sang in Bulgarian, making it one of very few entries that are sung in the country's language. Most are in English. This should sail through to the grand final.
