It's been a heck of a long time since we've heard hide nor hair of British outfit Reef. They achieved a run of British chart success throughout the late '90s and early noughties with tracks like 'Consideration', 'Brighter' and 'Place Your Hands'. It was the latter with which they achieved their one and only chart placing here in Australia - a top 30 spot in 1996. Their albums 'Glow' and 'Rides' also performed relatively well on the ARIA charts. The band is back, seemingly bigger than ever in the 2010s, announcing that they'll be heading to Australia in June for a series of four long-awaited live dates. It's been 12 long years since the band last visited our shores.
The band will play in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle, kicking things off in the west on the first of the month.
Tickets for all shows are on sale on now.
June 01 : Fremantle (Metropolis)
June 07 : Brisbane (The HiFi)
June 08 : Melbourne (Billboard)
June 09 : Sydney (Metro Theatre)
