Back on Friday we brought you the news that Aussie songstress Shelley Harland was asking for the financial assistance of her fans to record and complete her forthcoming album.Now comes news that one of New Zealand's finest, Daniel Bedingfield, is doing precisely the same thing.
Free from the confines of a record company contract, Daniel, famous for hits including 'Gotta Get Thru This' and the stirring 'If You're Not The One', has spent the better part of the past eight years in the musical wilderness. There's been no album since his 2004 release 'Second First Impression' and no track since its third single 'The Way'.
So he's hit Pledge Music in order to rustle up a bit of financial support of new music. Pledges start at $10 (for a digital copy of his EP and updates) and range right up to $2500 for a private living room show.
And if you were wondering whether Daniel's still 'got it'... Simply check out the clip below to discover that he's working for you;

Excited, can't wait!
He's an absolute legend, great to have him back! I'm gonna get me some unreleased demos I think... although the drinking games do sound like fun :)
Sounds like he is another artist he got blocked by labels and could not release music til his contract expired.
That'd be extremely difficult.
I thought he was great on his debut album. Hopefully he can get back on the charts.
