REBECCA FERGUSON : Nothing's Real But Love (Studio Version)

British soul songstress Rebecca Ferguson was one of the standouts in last year's British version of The X Factor, eventually placing second to winner Matt Cardle. Subsequently snapped up by Simon Cowell's label Syco, she's on the verge of releasing her debut single 'Nothing's Real But Love' over in the UK (it's out in Ol' Blighty on November 27).
But while she makes us wait for the video proper to the new single (it's still incoming), Rebecca has given us a little taste of the track with this simple, elegant studio version of the blues-tinged soul number, which does little more than to showcase that awesome smoky vocal that's marvellously reminiscent of the likes of Randy Crawford.
It's sweet and in the age of Adele when the public is searching for more honesty and warmth in their music, it might just stand a chance.
