It's not only Sydney DJ Minx who's been snapped up by EMI Australia as part of their recent She Can DJ competition. Fellow Sydney-sider Alison Wonderland was also nabbed by the label and has been subsequently whisked away to London and Ibiza to join Minx on her whirlwind trip.
Vice President of A&R at EMI Scott Horscroft was thrilled to announced Alison's addition to the EMI roster.
"Making the final decision on who should win She Can DJ was an incredibly difficult decision to make," he said in a statement. "The ten finalists are exceptionally talented DJ's with an inspiring enthusiasm for music. Alison Wonderland's skills and passion for music was so impressive throughout the entire She Can DJ program. Watching her creativity shine in the recording studio and drawing on her deep knowledge of music production and performance she defined herself as an undeniable talent and unique artist. Her enthusiasm for music and the authenticity of what she creates made the final decision on picking one winner impossible, we just had to work with both Alison Wonderland and the exceptionally talented official winner Minx."
