It's clear that the Foo Fighters have a bit of respect for their Australian audiences. They were on our shores earlier this year to perform a concert in Brisbane specifically to raise funds for Anna Bligh's flood relief appeal. They also performed in New Zealand to assist those affected by the Christchurch earthquake.
But now the Fooies are heading back down under for a full tour presented by Frontier, with dates locked in for Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide and the Gold Coast. They'll also return to Auckland at the end of their Aussie run.
They'll be playing tracks from throughout their extensive back catalogue, along with tunes from their latest album - the ARIA No.1 'Wasting Light'.
Tenacious D will provide the support and tickets for all dates are on sale at midday on Monday July 18.
