Is there any word on if the Burlesque Soundtrack has gone Gold or even Platinum it's been selling strong for months now so seems odd ARIA have no accredation for it, I assume it is just not listed.

I do miss the ol' chart watch and sales figures. Hope Aria share them again...

Thanks AuspOp,

Hey Anonymous,

Awaiting a response from Sony now for you...
We're assuming it'll be around the 15,000 mark, given sales after Christmas are traditionally painfully slow.

Hey Anonymous,

According to our Sony contact, "Unfortunately I can’t even give you a rough estimate on that for privacy reasons however it has performed fantastically for us thus far."

Wow, they are locking up these sales figures tighter than a fishes butt. I appreciate the info...

Thanks again, you do a great job on this blog.

Hey Aola,

According to a publicist, there's no word on the official release for Guy & Lionel's track and there's currently no date set for release.

We'll keep you posted.

Thanks Auspop. I thought it would be out by now - the tour starts in a couple of days.

The Guy/ Lionel version of All Night Long is being released in Australia tomorrow. It was released in New Zealand yesterday and has already reached #7 on itunes there. I don't think it is a Sony release as NZ itunes says Mushroom Records and the stories in the Aussie newspapers today say Liberation. Wonder if you could make mention at least in your "Out now" tomorrow Auspop. All proceeds in Australia are going to the Flood Appeal.
