The top five on the albums chart are completely unchanged, while over on the singles side of the draw, Short Stack debut with a big pop at No.4. But without big physical singles sales, they'd have been down at No.10. So let's check out who sold what on this week's slightly belated Chart Watch.SINGLES : Rihanna's still in the No.1 position, but figures are slightly softer on last week - in fact she narrowly scraped out on selling that magical 20,000 mark, but hey - in excess of gold sales within two weeks is a pretty decent effort, so who's complaining. 'Only Girl (In The World)' sold another 19,958 copies this week.
The battle for the No.2 spot is heating up, with Taio Cruz' 'Dynamite' (on 17,719 copies) outselling Bruno Mars' 'Just The Way You Are' by a mere 40 copies.
As we made mention, Short Stack explode onto the chart at No.4 with their brand new single 'Planets', but without their mad fans rushing into stores and snapping up 4357 copies of the physical single across the country, it would be all the way down at No.10. All up, it sold 13,891 copies.
B.o.B is also making waves with his new single 'Magic', which enters the top five for the first time at No.5.
Barbra Streisand is in the Aussie singles chart... But not the lady herself - the song bearing her name by Duck Sauce. The club banger comes in at No.12 with 8892 first week sales, and the Potbelleez are now in the top 20 with their track 'Hello'.
Glee's version of 'Empire State Of Mind' moves from No.40 to No.20 and Zoe Badwi's 'Freefallin' is up to a new peak of No.23.
Glee's 'Telephone' is up 15 spots, their version of Travie McCoy's 'Billionaire' is up 16 spots and Scarlett Belle hit the No.37 spot with 'Freak Tonight' (2889).
Justice Crew surges to No.39, Paramore is back in the top 40 with 'The Only Exception' and Mumford & Sons' single 'Little Lion Man' re-enters the top 100 at No.48 (2150 sales).
Outside the top 50, a big move from Lady Gaga & Beyonce's 'Telephone' - up 16 spots to No.52 and some more Glee action with their version of Britney's 'Toxic' hitting No.53 (1899 sales).
James Blunt's new single 'Stay The Night' spends its first week on the Aussie singles chart in the No.56 position (1734 sales) and Glee are back again at No.60 with their version of Paramore's 'The Only Exception' (1638 sales).
Mark Ronson's 'The Bike Song' debuts at No.66 (1530 sales), Adam Lambert's new single 'For Your Entertainment' debuts at No.69 (1494 sales), Kasey Chambers' 'Little Bird' is in at No.82 (1237 sales) and The Ting Tings make a splash at No.83 (1227 sales).
The Glee Cast are in again - at No.93 - with their version of 'Me Against The Music' (1012 sales) and Selena Gomez & The Scene are in the singles top 100 at No.100 with 'A Year Without Rain' (943 copies).
ALBUMS : The top five remains steady on the ARIA albums chart this week, with Linkin Park spending a third week in the top spot (6351 copies) and Katy Perry holding the bridesmaid's position with 4406 sales.
Mark Ronson's album 'Record Collection' is the highest new debut for the week. It's in at No.6 with 3725 first week sales, while Birds Of Tokyo and Angus & Julia Stone also surge.
Soundgarden's best-of 'Telephantasm' debuts in the No.20 spot with 1541 first week sales and Eric Clapton's new LP has his name written all over it at No.21 (1509 sales).
Mumford & Sons' album moves up 16 places, Tim McGraw's heading in the other direction and Beccy Cole's album 'Preloved' makes its debut at No.32 (1021 sales).
Michael Franti is in at No.34 with 'The Sound Of Sunshine' and 1015 sales and John Legend's new LP pops in at No.42 (957 copies).
More debuts from Shihad (No.44 with 'Ignite' and 888 sales), Selena Gomez & The Scene (No.46 with 'A Year Without Rain' and 852 sales) and Seal (No.47 with 'Commitment' and 846 sales).
Interpol's album, meanwhile, drops 28 spots to No.50.
Outside the top 50, Serj Tankian's album 'Imperfect Harmonies' debuts at No.56 (695 sales), Vanessa Amorosi's album 'Hazardous' re-enters the top 100 at No.59 and Robyn's 'Body Talk Pt.2' is in at No.68 (584 copies).
Bad Religion's album 'The Dissent Of Man' is in at No.73 with 540 sales, Ice Cube's 'I Am The West' debuts at No.78 (516 sales) and Neil Young's 'The Noise' comes in at No.83 (478 sales).
Re-emergences in the top 100 this week come from INXS, Amy Meredith, The XX, the cast of Glee and Parkway Drive.

Would you happen to know the total sales for Ke$ha's 'Animal' since it debuted?
Hey auspOp,
Just wondering how close Beyonce's Single Ladies is from hitting 100 weeks all up in the top 100?
Thanks!

Hi AuspOp!
May I Have this week's sales for the following albums:
+ Science & Faith at #8
+ Down The Way at #10
+ Save Me, San Francisco at #14
+ Lungs at #17
Thanks in advance
Do you know if Hazardous is near platinum yet?
Hey Brad,
Since its debut, Ke$ha's 'Animal' has sold 73,192 copies... JUST over platinum.
The auspOp team
Hey Phil,
From our reckoning, if it was released on October 08, 2008, it will have charted on Monday October 13. In that respect, she'll have clocked up 100 weeks since release on Monday just gone.
That said, the song has disappeared out of the top 100 in that time.
The auspOp team
Hey Innocent Eyes,
Science & Faith at #8 - 2907
Down The Way at #10 - 2381
Save Me, San Francisco at #14 - 1781
Lungs at #17 - 1698

Hey Anonymous,
While we don't have figures for across Christmas or outside the top 100, we'd estimate that Vanessa's album 'Hazardous' is within 5000-8000 copies of making platinum.
The auspOp team
(PS - That's platinum sales... Platinum means the number of copies that have been shipped into stores. That should be well over the 70,000 mark by now.)

Hi. I was wondering what Hurts, Sara Bareilles, Hot Chelle Rae and Brandon Flowers figures are since their respective debuts for their latest efforts. Also have you any new info on Eva Simons, Lissie, Erika Heynatz, Natalia Kills and Fefe Dobson... :) Thank You!
Hey Anonymous,
Hurts spent just the one week in the top 100 with 'Happiness' - on debut a couple of weeks back. They sold 528 copies for a No.77 debut.
Neither Hot Chelle Rae or Sara Bareilles has hit the top 100 since their respective releases.
Brandon has sold 10,570 copies of 'Flamingo' since its release early last month.
No word at this stage on any of the other artists you've mentioned and it seems Lissie's album has disappeared off Sony's release schedule this week.

Late reply, but including today's new chart (Sunday October 10), Beyonce's "Single Ladies" has spent 98 weeks in the top 100. GaGa's "Poker Face" is the only one with more than that, making a record 104 weeks in the top 100 this week. :)
