It's happened with sections of the Stock Aitken Waterman back catalogue and now Britain's Cherry Pop Records is busting a move on two classic Bangles albums, giving them the deluxe edition makeover with bonuses and remixes. The band's biggest selling album 'Different Light' (pictured) gets the original tracklisting on the first disc, while a second CD contains assorted versions of the singles 'Walk Like An Egyptian', 'Manic Monday' and 'If She Knew What She Wants', along with a Bangles medley.
The band's original album 'All Over The Place' also gets a re-issue, though with a few less goodies than the other LP. It's essentially a re-issue of the original album, albeit with their cover version of 'Where Were You When I Needed You' added onto the end.
Both are released in the UK on October 25.

Full details are here: http://www.cherryred.co.uk/cherrypop/product.php?display=bangles
I ordered mine thru cherry red direct, unfortunately they've had a hold up on the manufacturing of the releases thus why they are available sometime in October, they were originally listed for the 20th of September
Nice, Cherry Pop are great they just re-did Kim Wilde too. They do a brillant job with liner notes to remastering, great quality. Bangles are Touring in Oz with Pat Benatar this month!
Am loving the Cherry Pop re-issues. Would love an Australian record company to do the same with some classic Aussie 80's albums.
Any info on the tracklistings of the new Australian "Essentials" compilations you mentioned last weekend?
Hey Ian,
No, no other information from Sony about them at this stage. But we'll keep digging for it.
