Hello chaps! It's so nice to see you back. We have to admit to having a little soft spot for UK outfit A1, who came to Australia for promotional duties what seems like eons ago and won us over with their cheeky grins, great tunes (they sang for us) and hilarious daftness (oh how we laughed).
But in 2002, it all ended so prematurely after one of the boys decided to call it a day. They were just reaching the heights of their pop powers (with ace tunes like 'Caught In The Middle' and 'Make It Good') when it all ended in a flurry of Norwegian accents and hair curtains.
Now three of the original four, Mark, Ben and Christian, have reformed as A1 and yesterday, they released their long-awaited new album 'Waiting For Daylight' in Norway.
There are plans to release to the rest of the world early in the new year, but in the meantime, get your chops around some of the tunes from the album by pressing play on this little clip (below).
Nice to have you back, chaps.
