• They won this year's 'Australia's Got Talent' and now the boys from Justice Crew (pictured left) are taking it one step further, signing with releasing a single through Sony Music. Their debut single is called 'And Then We Dance' and will be released digitally on August 27. The Sydney troupe will also release a full length DVD next month.• Abbey Road Live will record guitarist Slash's live shows while he's in Australia later this month. They'll be pressed onto a limited number of live double disc sets, which will be made available after each performance. All the Aussie shows will be recorded, with pre-orders available from www.abbeyroadliveus.com
• Miley Cyrus maybe hanging up her Hannah Montana uniform soon, but there's another soundtrack album on the way, with Universal Music confirming that the fourth soundtrack will hit stores in Australia on October 29.
• We've made mention of the forthcoming Short Stack EP which is due out in late September, but an email we received from Universal Music this week suggested that fans of the boys from Budgewoi should expect their second album to drop on November 19.
• EMI has confirmed that Tinie Tempah's album 'Disc-overy' will be released in Australia on Friday October 01. It features the singles 'Pass Out', 'Frisky' and single No.3 'Written In The Stars'.
• Aussie singer songwriter Michael Paynter will be up at the crack of dawn on Monday morning, as he heads into Martin Place to perform his new single 'Love The Fall' on Channel 7's 'Sunrise'. Catch him at 7:50am.
• Sarah McLeod will release her new single 'Double R' digitally on Wednesday August 25. The track is the second to be lifted from the singer's forthcoming album 'Madness'
• Seems like the next couple of Katy Perry singles have been locked away, if this official EMI banner (above) is anything to go by. "Includes the hit singles 'California Gurls', 'Teenage Dream', 'Firework' and 'Peacock'" seems to suggest that the next couple of singles after 'Teenage Dream' will be 'Firework' and 'Peacock'.• MTV Australia will broadcast the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday September 13. The show will be televised live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and will be on our screens at 4:30pm.
• UK hip-hopper Roots Manuva has teamed up with fledgling producer Wrongtom to create the new album ‘Duppy Writer’. The LP features Wrongtom's re-interpretations of Roots Manuva classics. It's out on September 09 through Inertia.
• And over in the US, the reign of Eminem and Rihanna continues on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. But Katy Perry is moving fast with her new single 'Teenage Dream'. It's up into the number 7 position with a bullet, joining her previous single 'California Gurls'. Usher's also now got two consecutive top ten hits - No.9 with 'DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love' and No.10 with 'OMG'.
• And on the US album chart, Eminem's gone, Avenged Sevenfold is in. Their new album 'Nightmare' debuts at No.1 - the only top ten US debut of the week.
