Below is a little taster of the brand new single for former Superjesus frontwoman Sarah McLeod.
As you're probably aware by now the songstress has been traversing the clubs of the globe, searching for new and interesting sounds to unleash upon an unsuspecting Australian public. Her search for these fresh new vibes has seen her creative juices flowing in clubs everywhere from the US to London, Paris and even Brussels.
Here's how Sarah describes her new material;
"I mesh rock theories with dance synths and dirty tribal beats. It can come off as a little confrontational and aggressive at times, but who cares!. I love the fact that it confuses people and I really love what I have created. Why do we need to be in such tightly pigeonholed boxes for people to get their head around music? We are underestimating the intelligence of our audience if we do that."
'Double D' - released digitally later this month - is the next chapter in Sarah's journey onto the dancefloor and follows up 2009's 'Tell Your Story Walking'. It's also the first single to be lifted from a trilogy of albums she'll release called 'Madness'.
Heads-up, Australia - the Sarah McLeod story is getting a whole load of interesting.
