TOM JONES : If I Only Knew

You gotta hand it to Welsh crooner Tom Jones. Though it's pretty much only in the UK where he's still experiencing any kind of chart success, the '60s superstar has stayed with the times. He's evolved as an artist - from collaborations album 'Reload', dance recordings (Mousse T's 'Sex Bomb' and Chicane's 'Stoned In Love'), or this awesome single from 1994, the first single taken from his album 'The Lead And How To Swing It'. How in the world Tom Jones got played on Australian radio is completely beyond us, particularly when you see how desperately unadventurous radio in Australia is these days, but he did - and 'If I Only Knew' reached No.5 on the Aussie chart just before Christmas that year.
The clip's quite basic, revolving around a couch potato who's too lazy to walk his dog. Suffice to say, the dog gets up to all sorts of amazing adventures, he doesn't.
