LEAH HAYWOOD : We Think It's Love
A decade ago, young Leah Haywood was being touted as Sony Music's next big thing - an Aussie songstress capable of mixing it with the likes of Britney, who was in the middle of stamping her authority on the pop stratosphere. Coincidentally, the track was co-written by Leah and two blokes from Sweden by the name of Per Magnusson and Jorgen Elofsson - who'd been responsible for Britney's hits '(You Drive Me) Crazy' and 'Sometimes'. But Leah was eight years Britney's elder. Following on from her debut, she released the tracks 'Crazy' and 'Takin' Back What's Mine', before singing Channel 10's summer theme 'Summer Of Love'. These days, she's over in the US - and two years ago released an EP under the alias "Dreamlab" (see HERE).

I loved Leah Haywood :) Her song 'Summer Of Love' is one of my all-time favourites!
Coincidentally, she did the backing vocals on Britney's "Out From Under" on Circus.
Not to mention co-writing quite a few tracks for the likes of Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Aly & AJ.
As well as co-writing "Do It Again" by Cassie Davis.
Heh, I saw her perform & met her at the local mall many years ago... I remember her being really sweet. Only uncovered the photos a couple of weeks ago!
Shame her career kinda fizzled out.
I've often wondered what she's doing now - I think she's really talented.
She did? Me too! I love the song - A lot - and I was wondering - Was there an album?
Hey Aaron,
Yes indeed.
There was also a very limited single called 'Just To Make You', which was apparently pulled shortly after release to make way for the release of 'Summer Of Love'.
