Is it wrong to actually quite like Mariah Carey's cover version of the Foreigner classic 'I Want To Know What Love Is'? She is, after all, doing what she does best - glorious ballads with soaring vocals. It's what we came to love her for in the first place, you see.

It's not wrong at all AuspOp! You're completely right, how can anyone go past her amazing vocals? Mariah does such a great job on this remake! I can't wait for the album! Only 2 weeks left :)
Pointless cover - at this stage in her career - a low. Disapointing
It's just a little to 'breathy' for me.
Love it Love it Love it! Hopefully people also see through the "Oh but it's Mariah, I can't like it" attitude that is all over Australia and it does well. Can't wait for the album!

Not a great song, but better than anything self-penned song she's released in the past 9 years...Mariah should really stick to doing covers now.
I haven't heard this yet, but as for liking Ms Carey - I went beyond that some years ago and she has honoured my decision many times by promoting her genre swap to hip-hop.
As long as she has *any* "Guest Rapper" in the artist list on her album, I'll keep my money thanks.
I like it a lot. Fuck the haters. I'm definitely looking forward to her new CD.
