Further to our story over the weekend with regards the release of the Michael Jackson 'This Is It' DVD... It would appear our Sony contact mis-interpreted our question of "when will the DVD be released?". It's the CD, NOT the DVD of 'This Is It' that will be released into Australian stores on October 26.The two disc set will feature music inspired by the documentary detailing the rehearsals for what was to be Michael's last ever concert series, arranged in the order in which they appear in the film.
But the exciting news is that a brand new Michael Jackson track, also entitled 'This Is It', will be released on Tuesday October 13 - the first new material to be released since the King Of Pop's untimely death back in June.
Two version of this song will be made available on the 'This Is It' 2CD set, with a spoken word poem ('Planet Earth'), also previously unreleased, featured on the second disc.
