EVA SIMONS : Silly Boy

We've been saying for a while, but some of the best pop music in the world is coming straight out of Europe at the moment and this one's certainly no exception. Being billed by local record company EMI as the 'hottest track in the world right now', 'Silly Boy' is the world's introduction to Dutch songstress Eva Simons.
With plenty of attitude and a shock of red hair, the singer leaked the track onto YouTube four months ago, name checking Lady Gaga on the video. Since then, it's been viewed in excess of five million times.
Now the video proper is out there and the world is getting more of a glimpse of what the singer can bring to planet pop.
We've never seen drinking straws used in quite the same way before, there's some tight choreography, clever use of balloons, a series of glittering costumes and the DeLorian used in the Back To The Future movies.
It's excellent stuff.
