NEWS WRAP

* Aussie songstress Cassie Davis (pictured) is reportedly still hard at work on her debut album, and is currently putting the finishing touches on single No.3 'Do It Again'. The singer vlogs about the new song HERE.
* auspOp hears that the forthcoming album by Ricki Lee is almost done, with the singer reportedly veering in a more pOp/rock direction for the new LP. Our sources tell us it's set to take on a more 'Kelly Clarkson' feel.
* EMI Australia has announced a brand new single for Something For Kate frontman Paul Dempsey. The new track 'Ramona Was A Waitress' is due to hit digital retail on July 03, with a CD EP to follow on July 24.
* Green Day has taken out the No.1 most added to radio spot this week, with Ciara and Jordin Sparks occupying positions No.2 and 3. Pink's 'Bad Influence' remains the No.1 most played song in the country.
* And PWL has announced another project with independent British label Cherry Pop Records. The label is set to release a Sinitta Greatest Hits package in Britain in September this year, with tracklisting details revealed on the PWL WEBSITE.
