PUSSYCAT DOLLS : Hush Hush, Hush Hush

While lead doll Nicole Scher-zinger continues to deny reports that the all-conquering girl group will be going their own way at the end of their current world tour, the video for their brand new single 'Hush Hush, Hush Hush' has just surfaced. And speaking of surfacing, that's precisely what Miss Nicole does for the opening moments of the clip, reclining in a bath full of bubbles, her hair soaked, dark and wet (this review's fast turning into some kind of Mills & Boon novel). And just when you're getting worried that she's on the verge of slipping over on the bathroom tiles, she bursts through the door in a silver hooded number where she's joined by her fellow pussies in crime. Then she makes it into the roller-skate room, where there are feather boas, another gratuitous plug for Campari (this is a worrying trend in clips these days), there's a party room with a rather familiar blogging face as the DJ, plenty of sparkle, plenty of glitz, a nod to a disco classic and oodles of glamour. It's how all good pOp clips should be.
