Bondi-based trio Mojada may have been over in the United States quite a lot of late, working with some of the best in the business on their debut album 'Exactly'. They may have found a following in Hollywood, courtesy of a live appearance at the infamous 'Viper Room'. They may have toured Australia on a number of occasions alongside some of the biggest indie and rock acts in the country. They may have been receiving rave reviews for their latest EP. BUT, Mojada has been tearing up the dancefloors of late with an Icehouse remix of their single 'Put My Love On You' after it appeared on Channel 10's mega-hit 'So You Think You Can Dance'. The track also hit the top 10 on the iTunes chart, peaking at No.4. But it's not really what the band is really all about. Their true sound is most reminiscent of Matchbox 20 - catchy radio melodies, carefree soul-rock (or 'sprock' as Anastacia once called it). Sydneysiders curious to get a little more up close and personal with the band can see them performing live this Thursday night at the city's The Gaelic Club in Surry Hills. The rest of us can catch them over at their OFFICIAL MYSPACE and get on board the Mojada bus.
