COUNTDOWN TO EUROVISION : Germany

It's now less than one month before the crowds flock to see all the glitz, the glamour and all the questionable fashions of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. We're continuing our look at some of the entries that will be vying for this year's coveted crown at Moscow's Indoor Olympic Arena on May 14 and we'll continue to do so in the countdown to this year's competition. GERMANY : Alex Swings Oscar Sings - Miss Kiss Kiss Bang

Germany's entry for Eurovision 2009 is swingin'! Take a handsome Broadway theatre star in Oscar Loya to sing and team him up with German dance music composer Alex C and you have Alex who swings (and wrote the track) and Oscar who sings (hence the name of the band 'Alex Swings Oscar Sings' - ooh, clever!). In much the same way that Lou Bega got 'Mambo No.5' into our heads, Oscar and Alex are set to get 'Miss Kiss Kiss Bang' into them too. It's slick, smooth and all rather timeless - it's gonna go off.
