COUNTDOWN TO EUROVISION : Greece

Eurovision 2009, to be held in Moscow on May 14, is now just two months away. Throughout the countdown to the 2009 festivities, auspOp is continuing it's look at some of the acts you may well be seeing in the final at Moscow's Indoor Olympic Arena. Some of these performers have already recorded video clips for their entries, whereas some will just tempt you with their live performances.

GREECE : SAKIS ROUVAS - This Is Our Night

After competing for Greece at Eurovision in 2004 (finishing third) and then co-hosting the competition in Athens two years later, Greek pOpstar Sakis Rouvas is no stranger to the annual song competition. The 37 year old is back for another crack at the Eurovision title in 2009 with his single, 'This Is Our Night'. And what can we say - the track is VERY Euro-pOp and would sit beautifully alongside something produced in one of the Nordic countries.
