Australia's longest running dance label Central Station Records has been sold - and it's someone from within who's snapped it up. Director Jamie Raeburn is the new owner of the music label, which was established in 1976. Since then, the Central Station team has overseen releases for some of the biggest names in the dance and pOp business, ranging from Dannii Minogue to Tiesto, Scooter to Bananarama, September, Cascada and Crazy Penis, as well as looking after local artists including Slinkee Minx, Emaar, Melissa Tkautz and Nick Skitz. The label also releases the extraordinarily successful WILD dance compilations. According to the official press release, Jamie says in announcing the takeover, "We are all looking forward to once again becoming a streamlined specialist with a strong focus on artist & new business development".
