Admittedly, we have no idea what this song is about or where it's come from (it IS out of Sweden), but there are two very strange things about it; No.1: The guy who's singing is Peter Stormare (pictured), a Swedish actor who played the part of mob boss John Abruzzi in TV's 'Prison Break'. And No.2: This ditty has been used to great success in Australia by the Sakata company in their television and radio advertisements for their rice crackers. And speaking of crackers, that's precisely what this track is - completely bonkers! A novelty hit seemingly about Volkswagen cars being better than any others. Bizarre...
If you google the aussie band Mercury 4 - the band released a single called "5 Years From Now" - on that single was a fantastic remix (it's worth finding) - featuring a guy called Quasimodo - maybe that's him?
